Project: Senior Thesis

Duration: 2020-2021
THE BRAND
The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, situated in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States, has been a prominent zoo since its establishment in 1965. Spanning 40 acres within Fort Wayne's Franke Park, the zoo is home to a diverse collection of 1,000 animals.
THE CHALLENGE
Rebrand and transport families back to a time when their biggest worries were which animal to visit next, and whether to have cotton candy or ice cream for a snack. Through a comprehensive marketing campaign that incorporates social media, print ads, and experiential events, parents will relive their childhood memories while creating new ones with their little ones and bring the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo roaring into the 21st century. And the best part? By promoting the conservation of zoo animals, we're not only having fun but also doing our part to protect our furry (and not-so-furry) friends.
THE SOLUTION
Focus and emphasize the effects of color on children’s brains and incorporate my approach into their marketing material. A versatile logo that can be swapped with various animal tails. Simple, yet eye-catching posters and flyers, eliminated the paper receipt tickets for a more modern and alluring design, and revamp their website for a more captivating and user-friendly experience. Utilized various methods, including photography, illustration, and typography for a diverse approach.
